Beamdoku is a logic puzzle game published by Ahmed Rida Ali (“we”). This policy explains what the Beamdoku mobile app (iOS and Android) does with data. The short version: no account, no personal data entered, no ads, and a small amount of anonymous usage and attribution data.
| Data | Purpose | Tool | Linked to you? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Game progress (level, hints, ports found, sound preference, daily streak) | Make the game work | Stored on your device only (never sent to us) | No |
| Anonymous usage events (level started/completed, hints used, share tapped, daily puzzle, session return, app environment such as OS version and screen size) | Understand how the game is played and fix layout bugs on specific devices | Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) | No — a random identifier stored on your device, not tied to your identity |
| App install and app-open events | Measure whether our advertising on Facebook and Instagram leads to installs | Meta App Events SDK (Meta Platforms, Inc.) | On iOS, no: we do not ask for tracking permission and do not read the advertising identifier (IDFA); attribution uses Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork. On Android, the Meta SDK may use the Android Advertising ID, which you can reset or delete in your device settings. |
We do not collect your name, e-mail address, contacts, location, photos or any content you type. The port-name guesses stay on your device.
If you allow notifications, Beamdoku schedules local reminders on your device (tomorrow's daily puzzle, or a nudge after a day away). Nothing leaves your device for this; no push server is involved. You can turn them off at any time in your system settings.
This version of Beamdoku shows no advertising. If ads are ever added, this policy will be updated first and, on iOS, the app will ask for permission before any tracking.
Analytics data is kept by Google Analytics for 14 months, in aggregate. Meta App Events data is subject to Meta's data policy. We do not sell data and share it with no one else.
Beamdoku is a general-audience game, not directed at children under 13, and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Under the GDPR and similar laws you may ask what data we hold and request its deletion. Because we store no personal data, the practical answer is: uninstalling the app removes all game data from your device, and the random analytics identifier with it.
